Portfolio & Work in Progress

resistant & visionary

This portrait series is dedicated to women who have changed society — and continue to do so. Some of them are barely mentioned in history books, while others shape the present with powerful voices. What unites them all is their resistance, vision, and courage to drive change.

Drawn with marker on watercolor paper, the portraits feature figures like Clara Zetkin and Elisabeth Selbert, who fought for equality and political participation, as well as Emilia Roig, who brings intersectional feminism into contemporary discourse. Scientists such as Rosalind Franklin — whose contribution to DNA research was overlooked for decades — also find their place here.

Unbroken

This series is dedicated to the language of the body — more precisely: the hands. They express what words cannot contain. Resistance. Exhaustion. Rage. Hope.

In black-and-white lines, dense cross-hatching, and carved-out light, these drawings speak of the inner strength to resist — against inequality, against violence, against powerlessness. At the same time, they carry a quiet vulnerability: the open hand might repel — or ask for help. The fist might strike — or protect the heart.

“Unbroken” is a visual expression of female emotion beyond conventional representation. No ideal. No pose. Just raw gesture, captured in ink.
